D16Y8 with wiseco 75.5mm pistons..what clearance for wall to piston?
the specs on the wiseco sheet saids .025 but shouldnt i be .030 wall to piston clearance because of turbo and expansion of the pistons due to heat? searched but only came up with ring gaps no piston to wall clearance. any help would be great. thank.

The spec sheet didn't give seperate specs for forced induction and naturally aspirated?

.003" is the general rule of thumb.

nope only say "Suggested Piston to wall .025"

Run them too tight and you'll have scarring on the cylinder walls. A little blow-by is perfectly fine.
I would call the manufacturer and tell them the type of application the pistons are being used in.

If the sheet says that clearance then i woudl tend to think the manufacturer already compensated for this. There ARE reasons they recommend clearances and settings.

no idea but i ran it .030

So you think the same specs should be used for every application? Do you think those pistons are going to expand the same in a 300whp 15psi setup as a 600whp 30psi setup?
The spec sheet that came with my SRP's had a tolerance range based off the type of application they were going in. Not one set spec for every application. Again, I would contact the manufacturer.

You are def missing a zero. Thats 10 times the recommended clearance.
