D16Y8...DRAG or FMAX?
I'm new to the board...i usually surf h-a.net but anyways. I am going to do a sohc turbo kit on my 00 ex with the d16y8 and i think i have my choices narrowed down to DRAG gen 3 or FMAX. Which kit do you guys think is better? Also are both of them just bolt on without running into any wierd problems like a/c not working or stuff not fitting? Do you think it will be safe to run 7-8 psi intercooled daily driven? I've never done a turbo before so i'm just trying to figure out if it's hard to install...Is tapping the oil pan for the return line hard, and do these kits come with a boost controller, bigger injectors/fuel pump or can i just use my stock (120cc?) injectors. My prelude buddy get a JRSC and is getting some RC 330's so i think i might try and snag his stock 290's...will those clip right in? Lastly...how do the fuel management units in each kit work? Are they hard to tune or do they come pretuned and just piggyback the ECU? I have a ZEX kit right now on the 55 shot...i hope that the kit won't tamper with the fuel tuning from the turbo cause i'd like to occasionally spray a 55 shot with maybe 5 psi boost. Again, sorry for all the questions, i'd just hate to spend 3000 bucks without knowing what i'm getting into. I was gonna swap a GSR but i've decided to turbo the SOHC and when it dies do a GSR swap...i'm guessing besides the manifold everything else should transfer over?

i would do the gsr swap first. of the 2 kits you listed, fmax is the only true bolt on. i used to work at fmax so you can PM me if you have specific questions about their kit.
