i saw F-Max has a turbo system for my D16Y8 SOHC engine. but i don't know if it is carb legal. so i was wondering if anyone here knows if there will be a carb legal turbo for my SOHC any time soon?

 

92-95 Civic greddy kit will work for your car. Everything bolts right up. The fuel computer wiring is the only problem.

 

APEXi also makes a single cam kit and its pretty nice. check it out on there site i think they have some info onthe kit. but its IHI ballbearing i think too

 

but i heard that some of the piping needs to be custom bent or other stuff like that. and also.. isn't it illegal if the cops pull you over and have a turbo that is not for your year of the car? sorry being paranoid... just hate being harrassed by cops... for bs reasons.

 

i know they made the kit for the 92-95 but i know they had already fit it for a 96-00 and i think its the same. if your in cali call them up or email them.

 

cool... thanks for the tip. i am new at this turbo thing... and normally i am at the h-a.net. but after driving my friend's 95 GSR with f-max turbo running at 7psi... and stock internals... all i can say is... that BOV is the shait! i took a corner in his car boosting around 65mph... and it was tight! but since his car got spanked by a Si with Vortech pushing 220+HP... he is now waiting to get the JE engine. and yup... me in cali... bay area. the runs you guys have down in LA area is crazy... i only saw it once when i went to LA two year ago... there were some fat a$$ modded cars.
