I was just wondering anyone know which Greddy Turbo Kit would fit a 99 Civic EX with a D16Y8 engine, and if anyone has any reccomendations on how to set it all up any extra things besides the kit to buy?

Yea, go to Greddy's website and look under the turbo kits section. Lots of guys here are running the SOHC kit with the "hack" and some 440's or DSM 450's .. also some of is like the DOHC kit (18G).
Let me know if you need help.

Re: Greddy Turbo Kit (NaSh123)
the 92-95 kit will bolt on no problems... if u decide on getting a greddy intercooler for your kit as well make sure u get the 92-95 piping... the 99-00 Si piping will not fit a d16y8.

Re: Greddy Turbo Kit (NaSh123)
I have a 99 Greddy kit, put it on a D16z6 once.
Personal experience, installing, runnin, etc
1. You would have to shave the block for clearence with the turbo, if you use the Greddy manifold.
Bolt pattern is diffrent from B to D, you would have to slotted the holes. Won't get max flow, because some ports are covered.
2. Intercooler piping fits good, only problem is compressor pipe a little long but still fits.
3. Have no experience with A/C fitment issues. Guessing no....
4. Blue box will work, but idles kinda bad, runs rich like ****! (dont use it)
Pulls strong, very fun, ran good time.
Greddy =
sorry for bad spelling & ****, kinda tired.......

Re: Greddy Turbo Kit (biassj)
ummmm also
Reccomendations include: custom 3' downpipe, and a 3' exhaust, 3' test-pipe.
Remove blue box, run SMC, AFC hack, FMU, or something better. Search search...
Get a boost controller, you'll want more , boost gauge 4 sure...... let me think.....
more questions IM me, I know more then posted but Im tired, going sleep!
