i had the hack for a few months, ran ok, but not great

u need a MSD 6 BTM for now until you get some real engine management on that thing

i say convert to BRE, Turboedit or CROME, ASAP!!!! (depending if OBD1 or OBDO)

Agreed, you can do alot with CROME free.

As for the 3bar... why do you need a 3bar for such little boost?

anyways, it hooks up to the same wires as your OEM MAP, you just need to hook the right wires to the right spots... a search will give you the answer you need!

Seriously,
look into CROME: http://www.tunewithcrome.com

then look into pgmfi.org (link in sig).

more specifically the wiki: http://web.archive.org/web/200...bHome

the real wiki is still down, but the web archive isn't down

1) Get your ecu chipped with crome that has a basemap for your set-up
2) call a local tuner
3) get it tuned

No need for your own laptop or wideband. The tuner should have everything that he needs to tune your car with. Unless its some backyard tuner shop haha.

Your stock map sensor will be fine as long as you don't go over 10~11psi.

honestly: a Batronix 3.3 is cheap... dirt cheap.

chipped ECU? ****, I sell converted P06's for $100 w/trade-in of usable ECU.

as for the MAP, it more economical to use one of the motorola 2.5Bar MAP sensors... it will be more than sufficent for mild to medium builds; depending on the size of the turbo/PSI it is putting out.

If you are staying under ~11psi, I would stick with the stock MAP, just so if you get a solid CEL (out sensor causing a limp mode) then your engine would still run

When I go to running a new MAP sensor, I will be leaving a stock MAP installed, but not plugged in so I can switch if the need arises..... just like running the injectors and limp mode: 2 wing nuts, 4 injectors with orings installed, and a stock dummy plug on the harness are all I need to mess with th get driving if in limp mode on bigger injectors... I figured it would take 20 min max to swap out injectors to be able to get home in limp mode.
