might spool a bit late.. should make good power though
if you are even CONSIDERING going bseries.. i would start there before you buy a bunch of deseries stuff.. u can make 300whp on a stock LS bottom without trouble.. plus everything you get will work with other bseries stuff.. like if you get a vtec head ect.

Re: (Zakar)
Id like to make it into the lower 300's, I kno it is alot for a d-series but it is reasonable. I might just look into getting a b-series, its just a little to much money for the swap i wanted to have a cheaper set up than if i had to do a swap ya know.. but I need a damn hobby, so im starting to build the turbo kit now...

Re: (efb16)
my buddy works at a machine shop, so i will just do a basic bottom end rebuild with pistons and rods, but as of right now im just doing my research, as to what to buy. thanks for all feedback. and if you have any idea of a good reasonably priced manifold let me know thanks...

Re: (efb16)
yea i used to have just a shitty, no offense to anyone, greddy turbo kit on an EG, and it was quick for its time. but now my one buddy has a 2.0 sleeved gsr, and hes putting down 360whp, and my other buddy has a eg hatch with a b18c1 with 160k miles on it (hes pushing it) and hes putting down 230 whp.. and im just wanting to build up something b/c i need to get back into the scene. I have the worst itch to build another car. and my last car i build was a lousy b16 in a DA, and that was not impressive.. i got the motor cheap and made the mistake of going NA

yea and Evens tuning is very close to where i live and many of my friends go there, I had taken my DA up there but it was obd0 and he no longer had the software to tune hondatas statge 3 for obd0. so that car didnt run great but it was ok. just pistons rods and head was fully built with an Itr intake manifold. but i want another EG, they are my favorite..

It's not too big. I run a T3/T4 50 trim on my D16 and I've known alot of people who have run alot bigger on their D16's.

360whp on a 2L GSR engine is really low..
B18b w/pistons and rods
Any Bseries Vtec head
neukin ramhorn
Precision SC61
have evans hook you up with chrome
you could make 500whp EASY.. it would eat your buddies car for lunch
