We pulled the head off again to make absolute sure it was the right head gasket... all of the inner holes lined up, it fits?, but there is a suttle difference in the outter edge. after reinstalling it same thing!!!

so am i ****ed? is it a warped head? Shitty head gasket? basicly do i burn this bitch to the ground soon and walk away a little happier or hold out and hope she moves again.\

It might be best if you open your own thread, it might also help if you also ask politely. I am not sure if you have done any research or read through this thread before you bought anything but if you have done so, you would have known that for critical engine parts like that. You don't buy ebay specials or anything with the word miracle on it. You buy OEM gaskets, OEM water pumps and if you buy a head you always have it checked by a machine shop.

If you bought the gaskets and water pump at the same place, that alone will tell you quality if the water-pump broke instantly. But even the crappiest of gaskets will run for a bit with no issues. So your problem is you either torque the head too much, too little or you bought a warped damaged head

I haven't updated this in a long time, its been a year and 11 months since I started this damn build. I gave up traded the car but I ended up with it again and working on finishing it.

All the issues I had all turned out to be a cracked head, I never though it would be the head since I bought it new and checked at a machine shop. It was cracked on cylinder 3 and 4, coolant in cylinders and endless smoke.

I drove it home for about 70 miles, the engine only had about 10 miles maybe at that point. It drove good, but it blew the turbo on the way since my oil line completely failed. Anyway I fixed that yesterday, also rebuilt the turbo but I hurt myself doing it but I have to figure out a way to install the downpipe today. I am not sure why but it doesn't fit anymore, it must have bent somehow.

Everything is mocked up in the front end so I been driving it around, If I have time today I have to install the intercooler. Anyway here is a video of the rebuilt turbo

I just read through most of this thread and WOW, what a patient man you are. I was ready to burn my accord to the ground after a few weeks of headaches when I did my turbo setup. Almost 2 years is crazy. Hopefully now you can get it finished finally and enjoy it. Good luck.

Yea people say I am patient, I am not really sweating it at this point, I work on it when I can. It will be done slowly from here on.

I put the downpipe and took it off, I have to fix it. Also driving the car to store it somewhere else, is at my house right now. Its not bothering anybody but I have a very strong feeling that one day I am going to get up and my motor will be missing. The shell is beat to **** but I have sunk way to much money on that motor.

Not notched, I was worried at first as well but everything is fine in there. On eagles site it say that notching the block MIGHT be necessary so I am sure some blocks don't need it.

Thanks for the kind words, as long as you didn't take short cuts and triple check your work, I am sure you will be fine. Dont let little things bother you if something breaks. Hearing that turbo spool is all worth it at the end.
