Default Cutting Radiator Fan Shroud for Turbo

Turns out my Stock Fan won't fit because the Compressor housing rubs up against it. I've seen a couple people cut the shroud, and a little bit of the fan-- but I'm looking for a couple of suggestions. Is this okay? Reliable? Will i get any heat problems?? Anyone have any pics?

I did that. My fan and car run fine. The fan is a little louder now since I trimmed the blades.

i cut my shroud and fan to pieces.. i just ordered a slim fan.. cutting it made a lot of vibration and i dont think the cooling was as fast.. took a while.. especially since i only had one fan because fluidyn didn't allow two..

Or you could get a pusher fan that mounts in front of your radiator... do a search for pusher... i remember seeing a good post with pictures... runs like 70 buck at autozone, kragen, pepboys places...

Just another option

Can u mount the Pusher on the Stock Radiator no problem. So do u get a Pusher and a PULLER?

and put them both on the other side of the Radiator
