Cutting the block?

Default Cutting the block?

Yeah, i was looking at a turbo install and one of the steps was to cut the block to make room for the turbo. Has anyone ever had to do that?

its called block notching and yes, it does have to be done on some setups

you always have to do it when installing a DRAG kit, or an Inline pro mani with the compressor facing the passengers side

He is asking about fiting the turbo not the rods.

Yes some people cut the webbing on the block back to make things fit. If this is a 5th gen Z6, I just pulled the front mount on the motor.

cutting,grinding,notching its all the same. and its been done plenty of times
