No... I haven't purchased my turbo yet. But in the past, I've read that you need to file down some of the webbing on the front of the block for the turbo to fit. Is this not the case? I'm asking so that I can do things in preparation to help my turbo install go smoothly and a little bit quicker.

I think it's something where you want to wait and do it once you have the turbo. That way, you can keep test fitting it to see if you grinded enough away - you won't grind anything unnecessary and you can be sure that you did it exactly right. I used an angle grinder and it only took about 15 mins to grind down my motor mount - I can't imagine it would take much longer with your block.

Why dont you just file the webbing totally off and dont worry about. It has no use on a honda motor.

Hmmm... never considered that as an option.... I'll probably only take off what I need to, IF i need to.
