Default golden eagle block guard question

This is to people who have experience with their product.

1. Will this cause any overheating issue?
2. Can i put this piece in my self, or is it SO tight that it must be pressed in

3. If youve ran this could you breefly describe what youve put the motor through(psi) etc.

Ps. I am having the block decked, and the cylinders honed after installation, to ensure if anything moves alittle while the b-g is being installed, that it will be true again.

I thought you were going with a race hi-flow block guard...

what made you change to golden eagle.

I read someone had theirs welded in... What kind of metal is in the coolant passages, Would the machiene shop be able to get 4 good spot tacks in each corner?

I ve been reading that some people have run block guards (many actually with good success)
I purchsed on already but am debating on the install-

the head is already coming off for a swap- why not? well im worried about warping (egg shaped) cyl walls

Im using golden eagle so should be a really good fit, but who knows

if i have to use a rubber mallett to tap it in and CANNOT hone- i should abort right?

or do you guys suggest abort now anyway even with GE
