Custom DP
Hey guys, the local custom muffler shop is doing my DP today. It will be a 2.5" with O2 sensor and flex pipe. I called to see how they were doing on it. They told me it will cost $160! I was like, "That will be fine." OMG, I thought it would be a bit more than that. Damn, I love those guys!

If you look very closley at the first pic, just above where the new DP and old DP meet on the very left, you'll see the O2 sensor

Re: Custom DP (97CivicFerio)
Ok, I have the car now and took it for a little test drive. OMG it is so darn quiet! They routed the WG to the DP, though I thought they would have a tough time doing that. Anyway, it is great. The thing spools a full 6-7psi at about 3300-3500 and holds it right to redline. First gear under full throttle is over in a blink and 2nd gear not much more than that. I am so happy. If this is how it feels to own a turbo Honda, I wish I would have gotten one a long time ago!

Is there really a lot of room to put in a 3in downpipe on a 00 Si without A/C? I am also thinking about buying the Rev-Hard kit and throwing that on a built bottomend in the Si and then buiding a crazy fast turbo hatch.

Time to crank up the boost!!!!! 6.5 will not hold you for long! I am real curious though to see how a straight T-3 does on the D series...

Re: Custom DP (mplex2000)
Yeah, 6.5 psi feels real good but I think more is needed! My friend who a few months ago bought a '02 WRX is selling me his MBC. I think I'll try out 9 psi and see how that feels!
