It matter where you live and where the block is going on shipping costs because I just shipped a bare block to IN for 43 insured but i paid 80 to ship my block to VA and 150 to get it back from VA

That just looks like the ports were smoothed out a bit and looks kind of unfinished. HArd to tell but it looks like some blow port work has been done.

Got the car back from Turbo Elements over the weekend. Going to take the mock up engine out and replace with permanent engine which should be built soon. In the mean while Im going to drop off the up pipe and turbo manifold to be ceramic coated in black. Waiting on cage and dash pods to come in so I can finish up the interior. When its all said and done, the car will go back to Turbo Elements once more so the cold side can be fab'd up along with some other nick nacks I decided to have done.

Still waiting on block to be built so I tackled some cosmetic stuff along with installing front suspension and new brembo rotors and hawk pads. Also painted the engine bay along with the front lca, brake caliper, wheel well, and engine bay. I grinded down the engine bay to the metal with a brass wheel, and pressure washed the suspension parts and wheel well. Used spray on bed liner and VHT wrinkle black from autozone. Came out pretty nice for the couple of bucks I spent. Had the windshield replaced too since the old cracked one wouldn't pass tech.

thanks. You cant beat it man for the price of a spray can of paint. I was gonna pay a couple hunred to get the bay painted but I figured Im just gonna mess it up with my butter finger tool dropping *** while working on it. And Im really happy with how it came out, looks better in person. I still have to paint that drainage area under the windshield. The money I saved doing this will be put towards getting the car painted black. Hopefully my friend can give me a good deal. Im gonna carbon wrap the roof and maybe the front end.

Some drivetrain goods I got a while back. I got a slightly used gear set from Dynamic Performance. Its a Mfactory pro set. I got a slightly used twin from a member on here at a good price. He wasn't lying when he said he only used it for one burn out lol.

I refuse to read a majority of the non-sense on this thread. Your block will be fine. Again, I didnt read it all, so if this was brought up I apologize. Yosolos coupe has been on 900whp for two seasons and at the 500 mark two seasons before that. I as well am wrapping up a CSS build. I am shooting for 750whp, and I might even get more then that. It all depends on the injectors. I get dynoed by "Treblic Tuned," on Saturday the 12th coming up. So I will gladly post results. You will probably need more pump then that. What gas do you plan to run? Good luck.

Also the pricing was 300$, then decking and boring/honing of your doing it, I spent around 700 on my block when it was said and done.

Ray R&R racing NJ blk coupe 9.1 @ 161, backed up by 4 9.2’s the same weekend (3year old block)

Good luck guys!

I use the ccs too.

I've done 5 20min hard lapping sessions at BIR and zero heating issues even with the small FR radiator. Currently at 350whp, but should be turning up the power to 500ish next week.

I also drag race since that's the "thang" in mn so yeah working just fine.
Will report back to jeff as soon as I turn up the powa.
