crx downpipe
*i did a search and nothing*
I was wondering if anyone is runing a 3" dp on a crx, i need to figure out how it runs so i can make mine, if anyone can tell me what radius the 3" bends should be i would really appreciate it and pics would be a big +
thanks

I have a 3" downpipe on my crx. I was using stock front crossmember...tight, but it will work fine. I ended up using the place racing crossmember, but that was for the turbo drain. The problem you will have is (assuming you are using civic short radiator) making a pipe with a good bend while clearing the radiator. I decided to make a nice non-cheated pipe smooth pipe and just get a custom radiator. Some pics at thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=266936 I have more somewhere if your interested.

damn that looks nice man, but i have my turbo on with the compressor facing the passanger side.. i tried mounting it the other way but the turbine housing would hit the radiator, if it wasnt for htat it would of been sooooo easy. this is my current dp, i wanna do a full exhaust b/c its too much of a cop magnet...

i got a downpipe off a audi and it looks pretty good. got O2 sensor in the cast casing and everything. can i get the muffler shop to re bend it for me?
also i picked up a audi wastegate and it has the normal vacuum line and a large hole in the side with threads.. what is that large hole for? and is this audi WG even worth anything?

I used 3" radius bends for mine. Probably could have saved AC, but it would made tightening the bolts very difficult. I ran a full CRX Fluidyne, and stock cross member.
