Crower 403s for turbo application?
Yes, I searched for over 30 minutes going through threads and didn't find what I'm looking for.
Ive read about 404s with turbos, but nothing about 403s
81mm npr coated pistons
eagle rods
60 trim turbo (pte 6031e)
1000cc injectors
walbro 255
stock fuel lines/rail
b18b1 head completely stock.
springs/retainers purchased, debating cams.
Possibly a mild port and polish job?
Currently putting down 362whp on a stock head with 19.5psi. I'm hoping for ~450whp with my set up and a little more boost.
Thoughts? Thanks

Re: Crower 403s for turbo application?
IMHO the turbo is probably the weakest link in your setup. 60-1's are not the most efficient turbos for our applications, a smaller billet compressor wheel will wake up your engine and still be large enough to reach your goal.
AKA 5831
Not that is a direct comparison I have used the 403's on a supercharged B20 and did have positive results.

6031 vs 5831
The 5831 is running 2 PSI more, at similar boost pressure the 5831 made similar numbers with much better response.

turbo definitely a limiting factory, but I prefer not to change it its since quite new.
Any ballpark guesses on how much power I can get out of this setup with the crowers? (stock TB and intake manifold)

It's not a limiting factor, it's just not appropriate.
