Default crankcase venting question?

I'm currently gathering the rest of my stuff for my turbo install on my hatch. I'm wanting to do away with my stock pcv and set up a vent to that atmosphere setup. Seems like people are goin crazy with vents 4 out of the valve cover.2 from the block etc.. I'm not saying more isn't better, but is it necessary? On my setup I'm thinking just venting the block will be adequate.
Set-up as follows....
Stock b18c gsr with s2s1 cams
Full race ramhorn
Garrett t3/t4 .57 trim
Around 10-12 psi daily driven.
Of course other stuff like injectors, hondata, etc..

Thanks in advance.

I'd get the T1 catch can...I only ran 2 lines off the back of it....couldn't fit the front 2 with the full-race manifold.

dont have to go over board with a T1 setup if you dont want to. you should be good with juss 2 off the front or 2 off the back. find which ever works for you and use it

the t1 looks nice in the picture, I havent seen one in person. Just 500 for a vent system seems really extreme.

I bought all the raw materials for something like $250 using JEGS fittings and not as many as the T1 kit has. Now I have to weld it.

It's not that extreme, the stuff is just that expensive.

I've decided to vent the valve cover and the block with -10AN lines and a custom built tank.

well doing some more research, I am thinking that if I vent the valve cover I should prob do the back of it, my full race ram horn seems like it might be in the way of venting the front. Now my question is what about baffles in the back? I looked at a old VC I had laying around and it seems if you vent from the back then you should build some kind of a baffle inside the VC?

As long as you're draining back into the block you don't need to worry about the baffles. If you aren't, you do.

If I do decide to baffle it. How are you guys (the ones who baffled.) doing it?

I have a 6 ports into a B&R fittings kit... which is probably overkill but it makes me feel more confident lol...

The rear of my B series valve cover has a L bracket welded inside to baffle the two rear ports on my valve cover. I have 2 drain backs as well.

i personally dont like drain back, all of the blowby byproducts can contaminate oil. i doesnt bother me to drain my catchcan every so often.... plus it allows me to monitor the motor, a full catchcan is a precursor to problems, something you might not catch early on if your catchcan drains back

I have been looking into doing this as well. This post did give some helpful answers to some questions I had. I have all my -10an fittings and hose just have to get the catch can now.

So I'm guessing I could just build a baffle similar to the one on the right in the picture and not have to worry to much.
