Advice needed on catch can setup
Ok, here's the deal, I'm finally done with my turbo build.. the only thing I skipped was sleeves, which is ok considering it's a street car and i'm only looking for around 350hp. Anyway, I've been thinking about taking off my stock PCV system while the motor is still out of the car, plugging the block and running the 2 spots on the back of the block into a vented catch can. The only thing holding me back is the plug costs $30, and I find that a little steep considering i'm a DIY'er, so I was thinking about cutting the piece from the breather box that fits right into that hole, and filling the back side of it with JB weld.. my only hesitation comes from thinking the build up of pressure from boosting 15 pounds might spit it out of the block. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Is there a huge advantage to using this setup over the stock pcv to a catch can setup on a street setup?
Also, before the e-thugs and gits start trolling my thread, dont, take it elsewhere. Constructive criticism only please

Re: Advice needed on catch can setup (jdm_vtec)
I think I remember reading on one of the catch can posts that someone cut the piece off of the black box and just welded a piece of metal to it and made their own plug- pretty much what your talking about doing minus the JB weld.
