A few JRSC Questions
I already tried asking this over in the FI section, but hey seemed to think a JRSC was a total waste of money, so they refused to give me any help whatsoever...
Anyway, my questions are....
1.)What is the best deal I could find on a JRSC for a 1997 civic ex
2.)How much would a JRSC decrease my Gas mileage
3.)Would there be any way to quickly disconnect the JRSC so i could maintain gas mileage when I didn't need the extra power??
4.)What other parts should I buy for my JRSC?? (forged pistons, FPR etc.)
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: A few JRSC Questions (Briman2021)
1. Check out http://www.groupbuycenter.com . I think they have some deals there.
2. It might improve your gas mileage. I've heard that some people can get around 1 mpg better.
3. The JRSC "disconnects" itself at low RPM. IT is vacuum controlled.
4. You don't really need anything else. It is pretty bolt-on. But if you plan on running higher boost of course you should upgrade. I think the newer models of the JRSC come with a upgraded FPR...

you should still be able to get 25-28 mpg on the hwy, but around town, think more like 18 or so.
No, i suppose the belt could be disconnected, but it's not really easy to do, especially if you keep your power steering.
I mean, if you want forged pistons, they would be a good investment, the JRSC kit comes with everything necessary to raise the Fuel pressure and all.
Yeah, there needs to be a supercharged section so all the turbo guys don't have to get jealous of the consistent low-end torque.

JR blower s will change ur driving habits so expect to lose a little milage..i do recommend a clutch and brake upgrade...new..these things arent cheap..cosider they are more reliable than turbo s and wont tear ur motor up..
