Default cp pistons not good?

now i dont know if this is true or not. but my friend has told me that cp pistons have been having problems. i think he said something about a lot of them have been breaking or blowing up easier than in the past. does anyone have any input on this? i was going to buy a set of cps and then heard this. PLZ HELP!

There was somewhat of an issue a while back with the edges of the valve reliefs being too thin on certain bore sizes. The design has since been fixed. FWIW I have been running my CP's hard for about 18,000 miles now and I have had zero issues.
