Default could bad HG cause hydrolock and piston smash through block ?

on my turbo zc its been havin a sputter at high rpm lately so i got pissed and floored it after replacing everything else and #4 cyl rod and piston got all smashed up and went everywhere so i took it apart and the HG didnt look too bad but im thinkin it had a slow leak and that was causing the miss in cyl4 and when i floored it it just went completely and flooded the cyl with antifreeze and hydrolocked it, is that poss or no?

can u believe it drove home like that. for about 3 blocks.. and it ran. did not knock at all. just sounded like a helicopter.. id like to figure out what caused it so i dont do it again.. im thinking HG was slowly leaking into that cyl for a week or so and when i hammered it it just blew fully. it was a stock internal zc . never did hg or anything to it. had about 70K on it . the si motor i just put in runs stronger than the zc did so i dunno whats goin on

ya cause it didnt knock it just must have crushed all at once. the head is barely scratched . maybe one valve it may need but other than that its ok. it all went out sides and bottom. smashed the girdle and oil pan and all

yeah, i blew a rod threw an LS and drove it home for like 5 miles, and when i got there, i drianed the oil, ran it until it died w/ the rod sticking out the block, waited until it cooled, started it AGAIN, poured water in the TB and it went on like this until i pulled it out.

I couldnt kill this pile of ****, lol.
