boost guage help!
Ok so I bought a used by excellent condition boost guage by HKS. The problem is the guy I bought it off of didn't include any wiring or instructions with it please help me out:
Here's the face(if it matters):

and the back side of it(the smaller nipple is on the bottom, bigger on is the top of the guage):

I know the 2 threaded pieces on each side are for the + & _ (but not sure which is suppsed to be which) and I'm not sure about either vaccum port. Please help!
sorry they're blurry, no tripod and a cheap camera = really blurry pics when you try to zoom in.

I'm pretty sure the screws on the sides are just for mounting. You should have gotten a I_I shaped bracket that holds the gauge into the pod. I believe there is supposed to be a light bulb socket and 2 wire pigtail that goes in that top hole. The gauge itself needs no power, only the light bulb does. Is there any type of bulb in there now?

I talked to my cousin and he said that he didn't have anything for it. the nipple on the bottom is where you would put a vac hose to. the top nipple (the larger nipple) is where you would put a bulb to light the gauge up at night. i'll see what i have around my garage and hit me up when you're ready to install. i can probably help you out bro.

good ish. I was thinking that the bigger opening was for wiring of some kind, but with this being the only boost guage(uninstalled) that I've ever seen wasn't totally sure. so all it needs is a pigtail and bulb?

WRONG. Do not put power leads there, you'll short out. the threaded ones are for the metal piece to hold the gauge in. You only need a vacuum hose for the gauge, plus the bulb holder with wires to the bulb. Those would be the only wires you need.

I'm sure you could find something at radio shack that will work for your light. If not, hit me up I'm sure I can find you something. Make sure you get a light that's 12v and is very low wattage so that you don't melt anything
yeah, if mike doesn't find the right light, I'll go to radio shack and pick up a set of LED bulbs or something of the sort(very bright and very low wattage
