Copper O-ring removal?
Anyone know what the safest and most effective way is to remove a copper oring from a block that has had a head mounted onto it?
The wires totally flattened out and Polk Peformance did an awesome job laying the wire in there to a length that leaves absolutely no "gap" where the two ends butt together (otherwise a small screwdriver could pry into it).
Any suggestions/pics?

I just use a small stainless steel dental pick along with a small hammer... If you gently tap the pick where the o-ring ends meet with a little work you can normally get under one end... Once you get enough wire out of the sleeve you should be able to clamp onto it and with a pair of plyers... Pull vertically and the ring should "peel" out of the groove without breaking... Just take your time and they should come right out... If the sleeve/o-ring groove get knicked at all I normally lightly sand the area just enough to remove the burr... Hope this helps, Good Luck
