Re: Manifold differences? (mrx)
The top manifold is designed to be used on the street.
And the bottom is meant to be used on a race car I believe because the turbo inlet will be facing forward and if you ran that on anything other than a race car you could suck up rocks or small children

Re: Manifold differences? (HybridKOOP)
The top is a F-R ProSteet manifold where as the bottom is a ProRace... The main differences are the ProStreet is made with either a T3 or T4 flange and flows a little less than the ProRace which only comes with a T4 flange... The ProRace is really just a race manifold (Kenny Tran, etc.) tho with some modifications you could probably make it work on a street car... We've thought about running a ProRace manifold on the street before but the idea just seemed kind of stupid... If you're inlet does come out the front, then forget about driving in the rain or without a filter for that matter... Just imagine what would happen if a little bird flew into when you were boosting up... Personally I would just go with the ProStreet, a lot of people run this manifold and get nice results... Just my $0.02
