I am running a greddy kit and how could i go about converting to an external wastegate. I know i would have to weld the internal wastegate whole shut. How would i go about welding on the external. Could you fabricate it to the greddy manifold? The reason im inquiring this is i have done a search and have found that the 18g will not boost over 15 psi without spiking and 18g are supposed to max out a 22 psi which should get you close to 400 horsepower!! My motor is built and i want to turn up the boost and make some good power!

 

I've seen it done...one of the type R guys had his ported and welded and all that good stuff.

 

my thing is how hard is it to do this because if its pretty easy i think it will really be worth it!
