Default controlling the boost

I just bought a greddy it for a gsr and the greddy turbo comes with an internal wastegate. How do I go about adjusting the boost with an internal wastegate? Do I have to buy a boost controller? Thanks in advance.

There are many different ways to control the boost in any turboed car. Cheap way, get an air compressor 3 way bleeder/pressure regulator and you can adjust the bleed to control boost (not too consistant). You can get a ball and spring relief valve and manipulate it to control boost (my current set up), it holds the signal pressure to the internal WG back until the desired boost is reached then the spring collapses to release the pressure into the WG and opens it until the boost pressure is decreased, very consistant, but I have some issues with it. Then, you can go and get an expensive spring and ball pressure relief valve, exactly like mine but with better packaging and a nice sticker on the outside (about $120 worth of prettyness). Then lastly, an electronic boost controller. More expensive, and worth it. Sorry if it is a long reply, I am bored.......

Build your own spring and ball bearing type, mine works great and cost about $4.

the best method ofcourse is the electronic boost controlles. I actualy like the TurboxS products they are actually nice for the price. the manual controllers work like he said. Usually you can pick one up for under 100 bucks. if you want to try a small test look at cspeedracing.com and look at his homemade controller
