Default compressor surge ?

well a few weeks ago my bov stop working, took it to my tuner and there ended being a hole in the vaccum line, well they put a new hose on and I drove it home but now it has major compressor surge...when i got home i popped the hood and i notice they put a smaller sized hose on the bov...would this be the reason why it has compressor surge?

i dont have time to do it today, but i will go out tommorow and get a bigger diameter hose and see if that works...just seeing if anyone knew if a smaller hose would cause that issue

If its a thin hose the engines vacuum is probably making it collapse shut.

call your hardware store and asking for the collapse pressure of the hose or look on the side of the hose
