compression tester stuck in engine!!
Just like title reads. My compression tester is stuck in one of my cylinders and won't come out. I've twisted the hose until it tore in half. I've tried to use extra long needlenose pliers to get it out. I've sprayed penetrating lubricant. Anyone have any ideas to help out??
that sux. Mine got stuck in there when I didnt realize there was some kind of adpater on the end of it. I had to grind 1mm of the surface of my 15mm or 16mm socket to get it to fit in the spark plug hole to get it out.
lol that happened to me. Man I was friken depressed over that **** for like half an hour, until I came to the realization the part stuck in there can be taken out in less than a minute with a damn spark plug socket.

lol i did the same thing!
we just coated the tester threads with locktite, scrwed it back into the adapter that was stuck down there, waited, and it unscrewed out after 15 min

I had to pull my head cuz no socket would fit on my adapter.
then I just put a big screwdriver into the adaper from the CC side and screwed it out the top.

I managed to use a deep 16 mm socket to remove the end of the compression tester which got stuck in my friends motor while I was doing a test for him.

Thats what happened to me as well. The adapter was stuck in the engine so I took lock tite and screwed the hose back into it so I could twist the hose to get it out. Well, it's in there too tight and just twisting the hose won't get it out. And since the hose is sticking out of the middle of it I can't use any type of sockets to get it out since the hose is in the way.
Same thing happened to me. I don't use that damn adapter thingy anymore. I was able to twist the hose in tight enough agian and get both to unscrew, lucky me.
Try the spark plug socket.
Try the spark plug socket.
also spray a little wd-40 into there, that helps. If you dont care about the adapter, take a flathead to the hole part of the adapter, bang it with a hammer, then unscrew it. you'll most likely need a new adapter after this. be careful.

Happened to me too. I screwed the adapter to the tester super tight before I put it in so it wouldn't leave the adapter in there. Well now the whole tester is stuck in there and I've tried twisting the hose till it almost broke. So I decided to put two cap fulls of oil down the spark plug hole and wait untill the engine was cold. I then came back 2hrs later with really long needle nose plyars and put them down the hole and twisted it out.
