compression question
ok i am planing on getting an 88-91 crx si, i am gunna take the b16a out of my 85 crx si. I plan on going turbo possible run 10psi daily, most importantly i want at least 230 whp, so i ask you this if i get a t3/t4 turbo kit with an iontercooler what compression pistons shoul di get, i am looking into je pistions with eagle rods, ctr cams, titanium valves and eibatch valve springs and 450cc injectors what else to make this possible and most importantly what compression to go with i was thinking 8.5:1 or even 8:1

Re: compression question (1gen crxer)
8.0:1 is way too low. 9.0:1 is a greaty happy medium, but a lot of guys have been using 10:1 just fine with good tuning.
Keep in mind, the lower your compression the lower your power yield will be and your spool up times will also decrease. With a decent trim turbo (57 comp trim .48 a/r t3) you should easily be able to hit 250whp at 10psi with a 9.0:1 piston. And I'm sure you know that EMS is very important as well so I will spare you the lecture.

Engine Management System
It allows you to change your fuel curves and ignition tables.

Or you can always run an s-afc hack

The AFC hack will not allow you to change your ignition tables, but you can change your fuel settings on this set-up.
I cannot stress how important tuning is. Search this site for any other questions, 99/100 of them have already been covered, answered, and covered 10 more times.
