Is high compression possible for a daily driver?
By high compression I mean 10.1. I have a 96 Honda Prelude h23a1. Stock compression is 9.8:1 I plan on having a complete engine rebuild. Resleeving, balancing, rods, pistons, and considering complete ferrea valvetrain for safety. I'm undecided with the standalone but have narrowed it between the aem ems and hondata 2b. Can I safely run a 10:1 compression ratio on this setup or am i asking for trouble..The turbo is the Garrett TA34- t3/t4 .63 a/r turbine .57trim. Maxrev manifold, intercooler, piping ext. ext. I'm looking to make 300 - 350 whp.

Yeah it's possible. IF you tune it.
People Turbo ITR's and they have like 11.0 CR (?). You should be fine.

I've got a LS Integra with 10.5:1 CR making that much power on pump gas, it shouldn't be a problem for you with a half point less than that and a bigger turbo
