Default LS-Vtec Turbo compression question

ok i just picked up my t3/t4 turbo kit and now i found a good deal on a fully built b18b bottom end. its bored and sleeved to 85mm with ross pistons and eagle rods. the compression is 11:8:1 i believe. im gonna turbo the motor but do you guys think that this compression ratio is too high for a turbo. should i go out and get some lower compression pistons like 9:5:1 or 8:5:1? let me know what you guys think. the head im gonna use will probably be the fully built b16 i have for LS-Vtec.

If this car is going to be mostly run on pump gas then your going to want around 9:1 compression. I would get a different block that isn't bored out as much too.

with a solid tune you should be detonation free at 7-10psi depending, but with the addition of a water injection system you could make more power, safer. The 85mm bore should be fine. if the motor is out of the car just get some new pistons with a nice flat top and all will be ****.
