Default compression

Hi i plan on putting a turbo on a b16 vtec or a b18c not sure which engine im getting but i was wondering what piston compression should i get , my goal is 350-400hp.

9.0:1 compression should work well and a good set of rods. I also suggest spending the extra money and sleeving the block for a good piece of mind!!

9:1 is pretty standard these days...if your goal is a max of 350-400whp, you could probably get away with something a tad higher
