Default comparing spool time

how does spool time compare from a ball bearing 57 trim 63 A/R to a 50 trim 48 A/R non ball bearing? or maybe a 50 trim with a 63 a/r. im trying to figure out what turbo to get for my gsr motor. i will mostly be doing street driving and i want low / mid range power, but the 48 trim 42 a/r turbo i have right now is pretty much crap in the high end.
i also dont know if i want an equal length manifold or a tubular unequal length one. i hear the unequal length will spool faster because there is less area to fill before reaching the turbo. does the high end of an equal length make up for the slower spool times that much or is it only a little gain?
