Yes the HP versions with the extra fire ring in the middle gave a lot of people problems. Cometic even told me last year it was a "Marketing Gimmick" and really didn't do ****. Other than that HP gasket the regular MLS gaskets been working fine

my built h22 has a cometic with 7,000 miles on it and has had over 30 dyno pulls for tuning. I would say if it blows it wasnt the gasket, it was installed improperly.

I have never been big on Cometic head gaskets as OEM has always worked great for me. Our Integra is running a Cometic right now though. It's all we had at the time. Had no problems on the dyno after 40 pulls and 500whp
