Default Cold start problem

Since it's been a little colder here in Pennsylvania, I've been having a little difficulty starting my car. It normally starts right up, idles for a split second, and then turns off. I start the car again immediately and it bumps around a little at idle(3 bar and 880's, so I guess that should be expected.) It does this everytime it's started when cold. The other morning, I actually had to give it some gas once I had it started to keep it running. I'm running neptune with this setup, should I try upping the idle a little bit or look elsewhere? I'm open to any input on this.

What are you tuned on?

You need to adjust your Cranking Tables, Post Start and ECT Enrichment tables.

I was tuned this summer and then street tuned this fall on Neptune's tuner edition. I'll keep those things in mind, thanks for the help. At least I know it's something non-mechanical and can be fixed pretty easily...

Carb'd cars need a choke to start really cold, which basicly enriches the mixture. If your tuner didn't set the tables well (you can't simulate 10deg IAT's on a dyno), then it will can be too lean (or even too rich) upon very cold startup.

Tell your tuner, and maybe he'll do the changes for free.

thanks for the advice again... Last I talked to him he said he would do something, however, it's hard for him to see the car when it's cold. When he street tunes it, I drive over 30 miles to see him and the car is warm by then. I'll see what I can do though. Thanks again for all your help
