Idle, Starting Issues on Cold Start / Car Wont Start
After i got my blower ported i started having this issue. On cold days, my car has a real hard time starting up and idling unless i have my foot on the gas. On these cold starts, the car will not stay running without my foot in the gas. It also sounds like a Subie at this point.
Whe the car is warmed up, the car idles perfect, drives perfect, and have no issues and the car sounds smooth.. The car even starts perfectly on cold starts when its hot and humid out. Its only a cold start on a cold day is when i have these issues.
Now, my car wont even start up. Please help.

The car has been unable to start for a week now. Prior to that it was starting as mentioned above.

Have you checked to obvious, fuel, spark, compression and timing?
Also check the ECT sensor, if it is indicating engine is warm, the A/F ratio will be lean, hard to start if engine is in fact cold and cold outside. 94

Might wanna test the IAT while your at it, if both those are reading incorrect temps sending wrong voltages the engine will run like ****......garbage in garbage out.
I can find out what testing is on monday off of ALLDATA program or you can google search IAT testing for your year, sometimes your lucky and someone has done this and posted the specs.

if the car utilizes a FITV, check it's operation.
there should be 2 ports on the inside of the throttle body. the lower will be the FITV port. on a cold start, you should feel suction from that port. if not, FITV is not functioning correctly. either stuck or inoperable.
if you don't have a FITV, as mentioned, check the ECT sensor. on a cold engine, resistance should be high. somewhere around 10Kohms. warm, the resistance drops to around 8ohms.
