Code 43 check engine light

Default Code 43 check engine light

when i im boosting for about 10 seconds on my prelude it throws a code 43 with is the heated O2 sensor but why is it throwing this code im not running lean(pulled the plugs and they are burning a chocolate color. normal driving (when im not WOT) the engine light does not come on. any suggestions

I have a very similar problem except mine comes on randomly both WOT and not. My setup: EG hatch b16a turbo. 13psi

make sure you have 12v on one of the black wires, (with the key on) the other black wire goes straight to the ecu check and see if you are getting a good connection. make sure the resistance between the black wires on the sensor is around 15ohms i think (sensor disconnected). what year and model prelude do you have? i will look up what pin at the ecu the black wire is hooked up to.

well i just bought a new o2 sensor about 2 months ago its a 94 prelude with the H23a1 in it

a6 is the pin at the ecu for the o2 heater circuit.

i think i have it fix i looked at my missing link check valve on the map sensor and it wasnt tight i could blow through it (not good) i tighted it down and now it doesnt seem to be causing me any problems thanks for you input

You can get oem pieces for about $60 on ebay.
