Default Code 21: I am stuck.......

VTEC Spool Solenoid Valve,

I have great oil pressure, no oil leaks, everything is wired up correctly yet still I am throwing a code 21. VTEC spool solenoid. Any ideas. I have checked the o-rings around the solenoid itself. I am at a loss.

It is socketed. But the wierd thing is initially all I had was a code 7 (TPS) and 14 (IACV) Fixed both of those and suddenly I have code 21. ???

If there is no short it sounds like it could be a bad burn.

Ok, it was a loose pin on the plug into the ECU. Fixed.

Thanks guys for the ideas.

Funny... I was gonna suggest you take a look at the wiring.
The same thing happened to me when I first put on the VTEC head and P28.
