Default Clocking turbo...

I did a search but, the only thing I found was this asking about a straight t3 turbo. I was wondering if, since I have a t3/to4e, clocking mine would be any easier. Not having to use a vise or stuff like that. Do I just loosen all the bolts on the turbo and each section will then move freely? Or is there some other procedure for doing this. I'm very worried about this because I don't want to damage my turbo. Any useful information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You can either loosen the 13mm bolts from the compressor housing (2 bolts per golden metal flange)... excuse my technicality. There should be 6 bolts if i remember correctly, just loosen them and you can spin the compressor housing. You can also loosen the 6 13mm bolts on the exhaust housing opposite from the compressor bolts and it will allow it to spin also. just make sure you loosen them and not remove them. if it wont move, loosen them a little more. if it still wont move take a butt end of a hammer, stick it in the compressor inlet to give you some leverage and give it some elbow grease. dont stick the butt end WAY down though. anyways, its really simple, make sure you tighten the bolts to german spec. goot-n-tite as someone once quoted.

you can adjust both sides to make the center section sit where you want it.

I'm a little lost here. What does it mean to clock your turbo? do you take off the compressor housing and turn it so the piping could fit? ??
it means just adjusting how the turbo is angled. you dont take anything off
you just let it twist to get the correct angles for the return line and charge pipes.
