Complete sentences will make it easier for us to help you and understand, that was painful reading. Is there burnt oil below the turbine housing? That would indicate a bad oil seal. Also, do you know what kind of restrictor it has? What size turbo oil feed? Is the oil drain vertical? If you plan to replace the turbo, budget $500, unless you buy another ebay turbo. Have an exhaust shop weld in the 02 bung 12"-24" from the turbo outlet.

Make sure your boy understands that his gift may not be as big as he'd hope for his birthday, because you'll need more than $500 for a newer quality turbo (it must be the same size, or you'll need to get re-tuned).

You'll need to know what it is you HAVE. start looking at your equipment. without this information, your boy's birthday gift won't be the only thing you won't be able to afford.
