turbo seal? or not?
Ok this is the situation i bought a precision sc34 from a friend around a month ago(used) not exactly sure of the mileage. So my setup before was ls turbo now my setup is lsv turbo we install the turbo using the same parts from the previous setup just upgraded the turbo so we put the turbo on and drive down the street boosting 6lbs the powerband sucked so we get back to the house and after the car sat for 5-8min under the car we noticed a puddle the size of 3 quarters so we look under and notice oil all around the bottom of the exhaust housing. so we pull the housing off and blew air in the turbo through the oil feed side and with my finger plugged the return side and u can feel the air coming from in between where the blades and a lil cover piece are. my friend who i got the turbo from said its from crank case pressure and i think that the seal was already blown. so is it blown or is it something else? help me out here.

Re: turbo seal? or not? (jdmhondas)
well i got off the phone with precision rite now and he was tellin me that its a piston ring in between there and that blowin through it u would feel air comin through, and to check my oil pressure and run a smaller feed line. because he thinks it might have been getting to much oil which was causing it to come out of the exhaust housing.
