Default Choices on engine build up...

I am going to start building up my spare ZC block for more boost.
Which methods would you choose?...

1. 10:1 comp, 12psi, 30 shot nitrous(computer controled).

or

2. 8.8:1 comp, 15psi.

or

3. 9.5 comp, 10 psi, 50 shot.

Things to consider:
-Not sleeved(just block gaurd).
-custom T-28
-Eagle Rods
-JE pistons
-daily driver(needs to pass emissions)
-I have a Zdyne with NOS control.
-Modified cooling system
-NOT GOING TO B SERIES(no flamers)

So which would you choose?
Thanks a lot

of the three choices, one. this way you have a nice amt of power on tap w/o spool up/ intercooling spray, on the street 10:1 w/ 10-12 psi kicks ***... fuel it up w/ a nice motorsp0rt 103/ 94 mix and spray away at the track...i dont like the idea of just block guard as opposed to closed deck resleeving. i mite take a look at that chioce bra freal, because those cylinder walls are not that great with boost, let alone high combustion pressures of 10:1, 12 intercooled psi, and 30 shot of fog. something i'd be VERYCAREFUL w/ by the way as i'm sure you know.

Yeah, As it looks right now I am going to probubly get the block sleeved. It's just that, not very many shops do it here in Denver, And I'm not too thrilled about shipping an engine block accross the nation.

The 30 shot would be a dry shot. The nozzle will be mounted so it is dispersed in the cylinders equally and have enough time to mix in with the intake air(cooling effect). It will only be on from 2000 rpm to 4000(before max boost), so it will not be running with boost AND nitrous, only one or the other.

I'm wondering what differences would the choices make on my build.

how streetable is 10:1 comp with 10-12 psi boost? Can it be ran with 93 pump? I'm thinking I'll just run it rich and tune it safely(obviously).

What power capability does this kind of comp have?

What I'm basically trying to do, is come up with a setup that is streetable, safe, hi-HP, and is DIFFERENT.

I'm running 10:1 cr with 14psi on my ZC with a zdyne and its very streetable on 94 octane pump gas. I run it very rich as the boost goes up and haven't had any problems at all with detonation. I've got the drag kit (t3/4) and with the high compression there really is not much of an issue of power before the turbo spools. Full boost is achieved half way though 1st gear in a drag race. I would get the block sleeved if at all possible, if for no other reason than piece of mind. Plus it makes future power upgrades much easier.

You have just a block gaurd don't you Quick?

At my elevation (5200 ft) the 12psi really isn't that much.

What is your elevation?

If I can boost with 15psi(like 12 at sea leval) with a 10:1 CR with just a block gaurd, I think I'll choose that route.
