Default Chipped ECU Problem

I posted the last thread in the wrong area, so i'll post here too.

We just got the car flashed with uberdata setup for dsm 450cc injectors. The guy showed me that about 130 fuel was added and the map goes up to about 11psi instead of 0 at 1.xx psi. Anyway whenever the car hits boost it just goes pow pow pow pow and wont go any faster. This is usually about 3,000 rpm when it does this.

Any ideas?

I was also thinking, when we installed the dsm injectors all we did was push them hard into the rubber honda seal that's on the intake manifold. Could this be causing problems?

Everything else looks good, connections for the resistor box and everything are good, injector pigtails are all connected.

If it matters when we pull the jumper to disable the chip it barley runs at all.

Prime your fuel pump and look for leaks by the injectors. If it is leaking, fix it.

Your problem though is tuning related. You need to monitor your air/fuels via wideband and have it tuned specifically for your set-up. Base maps are for starting your car... not for taking it to the track and ******* the **** out of your engine.

Well the guy that did the chip actully said it was a "tune" for the same engine we are running. I know about base maps and such, but the pow pow is very violent and it seems to be worse than what would be caused by a fuel mixture. I was wondering if it's soemthing with map sensor.

send the map to me. Either PM or use an upload service here. It may be something stupid like FTL and the MPh cutoff is like 80mph.

Go to a tune who knows what they are doing.

Because every engine is exactly the same. Sounds to me like your tuner doesn't know jack **** about what he's doing, go to someone else and get it tuned for YOUR car.

Stay away from shortcuts like that...NO ONE can just hand you a tune for your car on a chip.

If they could, they would be absolutely RICH and FAMOUS
