Default Fuel injector problem`!!

I got DSM 450cc injectors. On one of the injectors, the black tip has a chip. Would that hinder the performance and/or the functionality of this injector?

God, this guys sent me these chipped.....

SO they WON'T work at all? There has to be some 'ghetto' fix to it ... I find it hard to believe that this makes them inoperable

you guys are referring to the caps on the tips of the injectors right? my thought on the situation is that my stock injectors didn't have the caps and honda knows what they are doing so why do i need them. this may seem very niave and i may be well off base. noone responded when i asked if i could run without the caps but they seem to work just fine for now. i will probably replace them in the near future but in a pinch they'll work.

id send them back and ask for a refund. why pay money for something that you have to ghetto rig and possibly cause more problems for you down the road?
