Default chipped ECU problem

I am having a problem with my chipped ECU and was wondering if someone could help. Its a P06 chipped to run my H22 turbo. I am using a Willem enhanced burner and 27sf512 chips and hex offset 8000 while buring. My burner say the chip is programmed correctly
When i put the chip in my ECU i geta solid CEL but the fuel pump primes. I didnt not try and start it like this and dont know if i should.
Here is a pic of my chipped ECU. Oh alsoa stock P06 plugged in and the CEL goes away as it should. Suggestions would be appreciated.

What program are you using for tuning? You may have turned off, or not turned off something you should of, in the misc section, or whatever one its in. Had a solid CEL with my P28, but the car ran great.

High rev could be a lot of things, not necessarily the ecu. Are you sure thats the right chip, i know i use the at29c256 chip. A vacuum leak can cause a high idle too.

did the things run ok before the new chip? your showing tell tale signs of a bad burned chip or improperly installed chip/modded pieces. the solid CEL leads me to this. this should seem obvious but are you positve that your chip is facing the right direction? they are directional. also if you undo your J1 jumper it should revert to the factory built in program telling you that ecu itself isn't the problem instead something in the modified pieces.

i had the exact same problem with my po6, turned out to be a solder point was a little bit sloppy and was shorted to another pin of my chip.

dont quote me on this but i think i remembered the chip needed must be a minimum of a 256k chip. not any smaller, but i dont recall if using a bigger chip gives issues, it appears you are using a 512k.

just tried a P06 just to see if the idle was fixed ( I know i shouldnt run the stock P06 even for the half second) and the idle was the same 4k. What could this be?

or maybe a bad TPS sensor

just cut the jumper to see if the check engine light goes away. If it does, then the ecus is good and maybe the chipping parts have a bad connections or short somewhere. It may even be the octal tri state buffer (74hc373)

double check the work.

If the engine light still comes on even with the jumper cut, then it could be a bad ecu since you said it works fine with another ecu.

If you find out that your ecu is bad, you can also purchase on of mine. I test it all before shipment.

Since when does a P06 support a knock sensor?

Uncheck that and see what happens.

i assume that have added vtec capability to your p06 right? just curious if bin is looking for vtec and isn't finding any and throwing into "safe" mode. just a thought.

also have you tried crome? i found it to be easier to use. however im not sure of the bugs compaired to uber.

Are you modifying the bin in the same directory as Uberdata? If it's not saving options you're definitely going to get a CEL.

i modify the bin and i click exit and it asks if i want to save it and i save it to the desktop. If i try and do a save as them it comes up "failed to assemble lsm" or something like and and says it could cause ECU failure. So i dont really know. I tried a few different uberdata versions
