Default Chipped p72 solid cel........Help!

have been running my chipped ecu for about 1 month now and last week I went to start my car and I got a solid cel. Car starts but is in limp mode.
After doing some searches I think it might be my 74HC373. I checked all the pins for soldering, reburned the program still the same. Also the ecu works fine when j1 is cut.

Anyone have any other suggestions on what might be wrong? Thanks for the help!

***Update***

Replaced 74HC373, still having the same problem....

Does anyone know what else I should check for, or how to fix this?

take a pic of the ecu where you soldered in the parts, as well as the bottom. All it takes is one bad connection to throw a solid cel. Could be your program your trying to run as well. Ive never had a problem with the 74hc373 rom causing a solid cel, but rather a bad burn of the program onto the chip.

I checked all of that stuff, the odd part of this is that it showed up after it had been running for a month. I ran through all of the continuity checks on the wiki troubleshooting site.

Does anyone know what components become active when j1 is jumped. So far I have a good connection to the 66k, chip, 74hc373 and the rm3 (the black strip). I just am not sure what else to check.

Hey I have the same problem and figure it out!! Here is my setup.

B18B, mitsu turbo, liquid to air intercooler, setup for 7 psi. stock injectors, stock map sensor, etc...

the ecu is a p75, I chipped it myself, worked for about a 1 hour then solid cel. Changed chips, resoldered everything. still has solid cel. I then unplugged the computer and let it reset. The car will run for about 2 min then it will change in to limp mode. Check for shorts in the wiring, nothing.

It does the same thing in on the stock ecu programming. This has me stumped.

What are the causes for a solid cel besides "bad ecu" ?

Please help
