Chipped ECU?
Ok so i got my car back together and have know idea what to do or where to start its a 93 civic ex with a d16z6 motor turbo'd .... built internals ( rods crank pistons ) i have complete msd igniton setup and running on RC550cc inj. and so far have tuned with a Vafc-2 but want to go with a Chipped ECU and dunno where to start? so any help on where i can buy a ecu chiped and what the advantages are? Also will it be a plug and play thing or will it need to be tuned to my motor? im so lost
If you are confident in your soldering on ECU's go to Moates and get a Honda chip kit and DIY. Otherwise you can send it out to a place J-k-tuning to have it done.
Then go to http://tunewithcrome.com/ and get yourself a copy of crome and read this http://xenocron.com/install/CromeGuide.htm
There is a good start.
