Fssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhssssssst t t t
Just recently switched to...waackaaackaaaackaaackaaackkaaaaaa
Just messin with you bro...I got the Greddy Type S...good soundin bov in my opinion. There's a website with a bunch, but it'd be cool to compile some Honda's only. A Supra with a massive turbo running 30 psi through some damn valve sure sounds different than a Honda with a t04e at 15psi. Hopefully some people post...it'd be alright.
Good luck...

Re: * POST YOUR BOV THREAD * (401tuner)
Is there in diference in which BOV you choose, other than the way they sound?
Reason I ask is because I went to the Greddy website and they said that the RS is good up to 400 whp. I dont know why would they put that, but it's there. Can it be just to try to sell the more expensive BOV's?

People will tell you that a fast-acting BOV is essential, but as long as it can release some pressure between shifts and hold boost, its about all you need. Since you rarely skirt the edge of the compressor's surge limit, you won't get surge with even a crappy BOV unless you have a overly-large turbo, haven't hit your preset psi, and have a crappy vacuum source. But that combo is like running 14.7:1 afr's in boost...
The reason they rate a BOV is that the extra large valves will dump the air very quickly, as certain bov's are made for low boost and some high boost. Its known the Type-S will wear out faster at 20psi than their huge Type-R bov, but you won't hear much from the Type-R under 15psi. The wear has to do mainly with the diapragm.
