I don't normally post on this board, but I really felt the need to give st00pid and cheezefrog props for that car. I don't care what kind of car it is, that car looks good and performs phenomenally. You did that car up very well and I've got a lot of respect for it and the whole sleeper look it not only strives for, but accomplishes very well.

Anyone who says "it's still just a civic" needs to get their heads out of their asses and realize the fact that it is a 1.8 liter Civic is part of what makes this car what it is.

Remarkable. Superb. I'm infatuated, too. That car happened to be at a Civic meet not too long ago. I saw it (in pictures, the same picture of the car shot from the rear) and was like, "kew."

Now I got to see what it's made of... a silent disguised evil. I love the fact that it's using the stock muffler.

i just raced a viper an hour ago, i highly dont reccomend it. it was murder. (basically stock gs-r) plus he called my car a shitbox, that made me feel wonderful

Yes.

 

I'm not so sure about that. You see the motor in that hatchback came out of Elvis's car which also made over 400whp on Speed Pro with Lawrence Connley tuning it. Elvis then decided to part out the car and sold the motor to Jason, and ended up in the hatch. The actual motor builder is Randy Hughlett who also built GSRev's motor that just made 450whp on Speed Pro with much more to go until the ignition started to give out at high rpm's. The reason why I ask all this is because I was just at Randy's house on Sunday and I asked if they heard of Jason's black hatch on Hondata, and he didn't wanna hear about it because he said Jason's been going around telling everyone that he built it when in actually Randy built it.
I just tink Randy's a pretty cool, honest guy and I just wanted to set the record straight for him. Not to knock Jason or anything, but I think it's really messed up going around claiming someone elses work.
On another note I heard the black hatch blew it's motor at River City Raceway at the Supra sootout trying to spray a 100 shot NOS on top of the turbo. Can anyone else confirm that?

 

If u search for the thread where cheezefrog tells about his set up while it was a work in progress he tells where he bought the motor. I highly doubt jason is claiming to have built the motor, but he did build the car, and the turbo set up. So im sure its easy to get mixed up.

from what I heard cheeze blew a headgasket w/ the spray, but the motor is ok.
