cheezefrog vs viper????
I didnt assemble the motor, Randy hughlett did as turbo si pointed out.. No one builds a car by themselves in a week with the kind of attention to detail that was built into this car.
Pisal from Jisatsu racing built the wiring harness
Donnel worked with me on this project and did an excellent job.
I did the welding and pipe fitment.
The body shop next door shot the PPG on the IC pipes.
Innovative Turbo systems built the turbo
We took the car to the track this weekend and wanted to push the car pretty far, we pushed a bit too far and the stock sleeves let go at an estimated 575whp. We coasted to the 1/8 mile mark in 7.25 seconds at just over 80mph. Normally you see low 7 second 1/8 mile passes at around 100mph. We were running 28 psi on the 60-1/T3 and a 75 shot. The A/F was 11.5:1 on the nitrous and felt very solid. After looking at the situation I feel the timing was too aggressive for what we had going into the engine. I think 5 degrees less may have saved the engine. But we will never know. I will be dropping in another stock sleeved, piston/rod LS engine in tomorrow to get cheesey back on the road. Ill leave the nitrous on for now, but Im pretty sure it wont be used. He'll just have to settle for 450whp for now until he gets the "real" motor in the car.

I would like to apologize to Randy, Im sure that it has been misconstrued that I built the engine. I know I wouldnt have told anyone that I built the engine, for the simple fact that I dont build engines, I built the engine in the Viper and I have built engines before, But its too time consuming for me to do so on a regular basis. I will have to give a big pat on the back to Randy for building a very potent motor. It saw nothing but abuse the entire time it was in Cheezey's car, and I know it didnt have an easy life in Elvis' car either.

What kind of timing was ran on this car to produce 500+ hp?
I really need to figure out what timing to run on my car. I should easily be around the same figures if not more. Im running 9.5:1 JE, crower rods, Ferrea +1 in and ex, p&p head, darton sleeved, precision sc61, full race, ems....only thing i need is lsd and to order and install my cm stage 4 or 5--oh yeah and cams and gears.
Also are they 402 or 402T cams in this car?

thanks for setting the record straight Jason,
I don't know how it got to this point, I guess that people assumed that building the car included building the motor... I know this is what I would have assumed too.
One thing I am happy to hear is that it made more power than I would have ever thought an LS was capable of, especially on stock sleeves!

I think the viper guy is talking about the civic. Meaning he can't go from a low speed, because he would probably spin his gears like crazy
