Default Checked plugs after a spirited drive

Well I thought it would be obvious how I was running, anyway I was driven on rt80 40 mins trip 2 and from a diner, someone spirited driving while boosting about 3-5psi in that area. I just got home and checked the 4th plug and the prod was grey/white while the circle itself was black. I'm assuming this is a LEAN condition sign, which makes sense cause I'm only running a vortech FMU 12:1 with the stock pump (waiting for msd inline to come in the mail). Well at least I know that I'm running lean even though my shitty autometer a/f reads green bars in boost. I swear this thing is completely worthless if its lieing to me.

Uhmm.... insulator color doesn't mean much...

But anyways, you should not be boosting without an inline fuel pump. What are you thinking exactly?

no I mean the plug tip is white/grey, and I'm stupid.

My point is autometer a/f is useless completely and utterly is mainly it.\

Thankfully I haven't had any audible detonation of anykind.

Full throttle detonation is not too often audible... especially with an open wastegate ...

Stock pump can maybe maintain 65psi of fuel pressure. at 7psi of boost, you're gonna be trying to push about 130psi of pressure to maintain fuel delivery. Heh... yeah... not gonna work

Well the boost right now doesn't go higher then .25 bar almost all the time (meaning I rarely go above .25 bar) which is somwhere in the area of 3-4psi.

Why go turbo then? 3-4 doesnt sound like too much fun.....but what do I know, Im not turbo yet.
Then again all night ive been driving in my friends 550+ pump gas low boost Supra. Eh, turbo hondas arent fun anymore when your subjected to that kinda power

I'm at 3-4 because I have the BOV almost completely open because I have no inline right now, so I'm running lean which is bad.

i have a d16 with a t3/t4 stock fuel pump and vortec fmu. running 5psi strong!!! autometer a/f always show green under boost except when i try 7psi, starts to fall into orange. (not going to try that again) my a/f is pretty correct!! when i let go of the gas it goes so lean nothing shows up and some times it back fires and then goes towards rich. so mine is always correct
